Beans Maintain Strong Note
VANCOUVER - Jul 13/13 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their strong note through the past week, despite relatively light trading activity.
White bnean markets continue to be supported by efforts to cover in positions resulting from the failure of the Argentine crop.
While the Cámara de Legumbres de la República Argentina (CLERA) asserts that this year's crop failure constitutes a 'force majeur' condition, most market participants argue that statement does not meet GAFTA requirements.
