Few Changes in Edible Beans

VANCOUVER - May 17/13 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were little changed in light trade on the week, with worries about seeding progress in the United States and problems with Argentina's crops on the minds of buyers and sellers.

This was partly reflected in the U.S. spot market index for dry edible beans, which finished the week down four points at 1319.

By contrast, the grower index was unchanged on the week, finishing at 1222.
