Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 177,100 MT
WINNIPEG - May 17/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 177,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 77,500 from 99,600 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 49,800 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,632,800 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,632,800 MT peas up 222,100 from 1,410,700 MT last year.
