Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 266,000 MT
WINNIPEG - May 3/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 266,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 84,400 from 181,600 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 45,200 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,476,600 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,476,600 MT peas up 173,000 from 1,303,600 MT last year.
