Myanmar Finished 2012 on Strong Note
WASHINGTON - Feb 19/13 - SNS -- Dry edible bean and pulse exports from Myanmar finished the 2012 calendar year on a strong note, with shipments in December rising above month and year-earlier levels.
Shipments jumped 49% above November to total 119,848 metric tons (MT), compared to 72,855 MT during the same month the previous year.
This lifted shipments for the entire 2012 calendar year to 1.584 million MT, up 17% from the previous year.
