Modest Easing in NA Beans

VANCOUVER - Feb 16/13 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, with North American markets easing slightly on the week even as world markets remained firm.

The situation in North American was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. beans, which was down 13 points on the week to finish at 1319.

By contrast, the grower prices index for U.S. origin beans dropped 8 points on the week to close at 1249.
