Mixed Week for Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - Feb 9/13 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week on a mixed note, with strength in the colored bean complex offset by an easier tone in white beans.
This was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. beans, which was down 3 points on the week to finish at 1332.
By contrast, the grower prices index for U.S. origin beans dropped 8 points on the week to close at 1257.
