Acreage Debates Help World Beans

VANCOUVER - Feb 1/13 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week little changed over ongoing uncertainty about the quantity of beans which will be planted in Argentina.

This was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. beans, which was unchanged on the week to finish at 1335.

By contrast, the grower prices index for U.S. origin beans dropped 5 points on the week to close at 1265.
