Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 157,700 MT
WINNIPEG - Nov 16/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 157,700 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 76,500 from 234,200 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 30,300 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 665,000 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 665,000 MT peas down 105,400 from 770,400 MT last year.
