Green Peas Maintain Stiff Premium
VANCOUVER - Nov 10/12 - SNS -- Field pea markets maintained their strong tone through the past week, with green peas maintaining premiums to lentils in several markets.
One of the most obvious examples was the fact that spot bids for whole green peas pushed past lentils in several market regions in North America.
Grower bids were higher than lentils in North Dakota; as well as surpassing bids for red, large and medium green lentils in Canada.
