VANCOUVER - Nov 2/12 - SNS -- International field pea markets remain firm as offers from growers remain just behind the sort term needs of processors and exporters.
Bullish sentiment was helped by worries only 30% of Argentina's green pea crop will be equivalent to a North American No 2 grade product and that 20% was destroyed by heavy rainfall.
The harvest will be general by the middle of November, at which time markets will get a firmer fix on the range of qualities grown this year.
