Pea Tone Remains Firm
VANCOUVER - Sep 22/12 - SNS -- International field pea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week in sympathy with world grains and oilseeds.
Because peas can be readily used as livestock feed, those markets continue to maintain a relatively high floor under human consumption markets.
Indications that more countries will interfere with export flows so as to be seen to be doing something about high food prices, is contributing the firm tone in feed ingredient markets in net importing regions.
