Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 389,300 MT
WINNIPEG - Sep 7/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 389,300 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 45,700 from 435,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 109,600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 183,600 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 183,600 MT peas up 44,300 from 139,300 MT last year.
