United States Yellow Pea Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- United States Yellow Pea markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 28% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Yellow Pea was USD$15.11 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $11.76 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $16.38 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $14.30 per cwt in September.
