Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 216,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Dec 16/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 216,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 52,400 from 268,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 60,400 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 904,100 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 904,100 MT peas down 102,300 from 1,006,400 MT last year.
