Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 259,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Dec 9/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 259,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 1,100 from 258,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 27,600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 843,700 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 843,700 MT peas down 140,900 from 984,600 MT last year.
