India's Rabi Seeding Pace Slows

VANCOUVER - Dec 2/11 - SNS -- The pace of rabi or winter pulse crop seeding slowed during the past week, with the result total land in pulses is now just 2.4% above last year.

The latest seeding summary from India's agriculture department reveals 11.415 million hectares of all types of pulses have been planted so far during the rabi season planting period, up from 11.146 at this time last year.
