Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 172,800 MT
WINNIPEG - May 27/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 172,800 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 12,900 from 159,900 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 37,900 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 2,151,100 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 2,151,100 MT peas up 898,700 from 1,252,400 MT last year.
