Slowing Export Pace Worries Pea Market
VANCOUVER May 13/11 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed in light trading interest on the week, though Canadian market participants are somewhat worried about slowing pace of export movement.
Vessel nominations for bulk peas in Vancouver have declined, with only two outstanding ships named to lift peas from Vancouver.
This has many market participants believing movement will slow significantly until new crop product is available.
