Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 201,700 MT
WINNIPEG - May 6/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 201,700 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 39,700 from 162,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 82,900 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 2,045,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 2,045,900 MT peas up 893,300 from 1,152,600 MT last year.
