Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 11,110 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 23/11 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 112,950 MT, compared to 107,000 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 11,680 MT at 1,750 MT versus 13,430 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 14,570 MT from last year's 24,570 MT.
