Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 280,300 MT
WINNIPEG - Mar 11/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 280,300 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 138,100 from 142,200 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 52,400 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,585,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,585,900 MT peas up 642,700 from 943,200 MT last year.
