French Pea Movement Improved in January
VANCOUVER - Mar 9/11 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France improved in January, rising from December and jumping above year earlier levels, according to data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Exports during January totalled 17,635 metric tons (MT), up from the 15,335 MT shipped in December and up from the 9,695 MT of field peas exported the same month the previous year.
This lifts field pea exports so far during the 2010-11 marketing year to 210,285 MT, versus 108,475 MT last season.
