Mixed Finish For Field Peas
VANCOUVER - Mar 5/11 - SNS -- North American field pea markets ended the week's trading on a mixed note, with markets in the United States supported by the latest USDA PL-480 food aid tender.
In contrast, trading levels on Canadian markets eased against worries about medium term demand from the Indian subcontinent and expectations the pace of bulk conventional exports will slow after March.
Markets in Canada are tending to focus considerable attention on prospective demand from India, which seems to be experiencing a seasonal slow down as farmers there start harvesting their rabi or winters season crops.
