Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 13,340 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 2/11 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 100,370 MT, compared to 100,790 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 10,540 MT at 1,750 MT versus 12,290 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 14,090 MT from last year's 23,280 MT.
