USDA Mar Tenders Reach 18,740 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Jan 26/11 - STAT -- The latest USDA PL-480 tenders bring actual and potential purchases of pulses for shipment as food aid during the Sep-Mar shipping season to 99,790 MT.
This represents a decrease of 15,500 MT from last season. The biggest change is in yellow peas with shipments down 10,500 MT over the same period last year.
This season's volume leader is yellow peas, with 78,280 MT bought or under tender so far this season.
