Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 17,420 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jan 26/11 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 87,030 MT, compared to 88,890 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 10,500 MT at 1,750 MT versus 12,250 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 13,680 MT from last year's 20,680 MT.
