Pea Markets Firm
VANCOUVER - Jan 21/11 - SNS -- Field pea markets continued to firm during the past week as exporters and processors sought product to cover in outstanding, short term sales commitments.
Markets were also helped by worries expressed at week's end about the yield potential of India's winter or rabi season pulse crops.
Local traders in that country fear yields in some key growing areas will be reduced by cold weather during the past month.
