Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 232,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 21/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 232,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 4,600 from 227,500 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 65,300 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,226,500 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,226,500 MT peas up 500,300 from 726,200 MT last year.
