Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 272,300 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 14/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 272,300 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 51,800 from 220,500 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 22,100 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,161,200 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,161,200 MT peas up 445,000 from 716,200 MT last year.
