French Feed Pea Exports Remain Strong
VANCOUVER - Jan 11/11 - SNS -- For the fifth month in a row, field pea exports from France were above year earlier levels, judging from data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Exports during November totalled 31,240 metric tons (MT), up from the 20,330 MT shipped in October and nearly triple the 11,230 MT of field peas exported the same month last year.
This lifts field pea exports so far during the 2010-11 marketing year to 177,200 MT, versus 82,500 MT last year.
