CGC Reports Lower November Pea Exports
WINNIPEG - Jan 10/11 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 93,100 metric tons (MT) field pea were exported through licensed terminal facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in November. The CGC data does not include exports in containers or from non-reporting terminals.
The CGC reports exports are down from the 148,200 MT shipped the same month last year and down from the 276,200 MT shipped the previous month.
So far during the 2010-11 marketing year, the CGC says Canada has exported 921,900 MT of peas through licensed terminals, compared to 532,600 during the same four-month period last year.
