Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 263,200 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 7/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 263,200 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 63,800 from 199,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 58,100 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,139,100 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,139,100 MT peas up 438,000 from 701,100 MT last year.
