Beans Firm in Holiday Trading

VANCOUVER - Nov 26/10 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were little changed in limited trading activity during the past week.

North American markets were relatively quiet because of the Thanksgiving Day holiday in the United States. While it was last Thursday, many market participants took Friday off to create a four-day weekend.

This also marks the psychological start of the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period and a seasonal slow down in trading activity in Latin American and Europe.
