Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 14,200 MT
KANSAS CITY - Nov 23/10 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 65,560 MT, compared to 67,170 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 9,500 MT at 1,750 MT versus 11,250 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 13,760 MT from last year's 19,830 MT.
