USDA Jan Tenders Reach 14,200 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Nov 23/10 - STAT -- The latest USDA PL-480 tenders bring actual and potential purchases of pulses for shipment as food aid during the Sep-Jan shipping season to 76,680 MT.
This represents a decrease of 100 MT from last season. The biggest change is in yellow peas with shipments down 9,500 MT over the same period last year.
This season's volume leader is yellow peas, with 57,740 MT bought or under tender so far this season.
