USDA Buys 1,080 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - Nov 19/10 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 1,080 metric tons (MT) of yellow split peas for shipment as food aid to Pakistan.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 110D, the USDA pulses packed in 50 kg bags. Purchases are for delivery to port no earlier than December 1 and no later than December 28.
