Edible Beans Inch Up While Buyers Hesitate

VANCOUVER - Nov 7/10 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading with prices advancing even as end users seemed to be showing more resolve to buy on a strictly hand to mouth basis.

This was reflected in the spot market index from dry edible beans in the United States, which gained four points on the week to finish at 912. By contrast, the index for grower bids in the United States was unchanged at 825.

Limited trading is still being by exporters in all major trading areas, but large numbers of buyers remain surprisingly quiet.
