USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 1,100 MT
KANSAS CITY - Oct 20/10 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 23,410 MT, compared to 9,430 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 12,130 MT from last year's 9,430 MT level.
