USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 1,310 MT
KANSAS CITY - May 19/10 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 28,600 MT, compared to 53,640 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases down 25,180 MT from last year's 53,210 MT level.
