Record Small Potato Area

WASHINGTON - Jun 30/22 - SNS -- Area planted to potatoes in 2022 is estimated at 910,000 acres, down 3% from 2021, according to the USDA's seeded area estimates for 2022.

Harvested area is forecast at 902,200 acres, down 4% from the previous year. Planted and Harvested area will be the lowest area on record for the Nation, if realized.
