Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 710 MT
KANSAS CITY - May 19/10 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 120,690 MT, compared to 171,540 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 16,180 MT at 15,850 MT versus 32,030 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 17,720 MT from last year's 44,510 MT.
