Birdseeds Largely Steady
PANAMA - Jun 21/24 - SNS - Brdseed ingredient markets were largely unchanged in both grower and inter-dealer markets during the past week.
Markets are now waiting for the seeded area estimates for both Canada and the United States to help get a sense of supply fundamentals for the coming marketing year.
Statistics Canada will release this year's canaryseed area estimate on June 27, with markets keen to see if growers stuck with intial intentions to increase land in the crop from 256,200 to 290,600 acres.
