Ukraine's Field Pea Exports Post Weak Opening
PANAMA - Apr 30/24 - SNS -- Ukraine's export shipments of field peas in February posted significant declines, slumping compared to the previous month, according to data from Ukraine Statistics Service.
Movement totalled 24,709 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 30% from the 35,537 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 60,246 MT, versus 30,589 in the same period the last calendar year.
Current trade data showed Italy was biggest importer, buying 4,042 MT in the month. United Arab Emirates was the second most important buyer receiving 3,318 MT, followed by Turkey at 3,266 MT.
