Little Change In Peas
PANAMA - Apr 5/24 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading little changed, despite expectations available supplies will tighten more than initially thought before the coming northern hemisphere harvests.
Demand for peas has improved since India decided to allow duty free imports for product shipped with "on board" bills of lading dated on or before June 30.
Improveved movements sin e the start of the calendar year has the potential to influence the final seeding decisions of farmers, suggesting the potential for actual seeded area to be higher than farmers reported they intended.
