Bulk Lentil Movement Rose in January
WINNIPEG - Feb 29/24 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 33,800 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in December.
The CGC reports 111,600 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is up from the 9,000 MT shipped the previous month.
This lifted bulk loadings for the marketing year to 500,900 MT, compared to 792,600 MT last season.
