Dry Beans Mostly Unchanged

PANAMA - Feb 16/24 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were little changed in seasonal trading activity during the past week.

This was reflected in the U.S. dry edible bean price index which closed at 111.6 for the second week in a row despite a modest increase in prices offered farmers for some classes.

By contrast, the global pulse price index rose 1.5 points during the week to finish at 117.4 and the Canadian index gained 2.0 points to finish at 111.3.
