Field Pea Imports By Spain Sustain Strong Tone
PANAMA - Feb 15/24 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in December rose sharply, jumping versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 32,965 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 930% from the 3,200 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 592,290 MT, versus 68,802 during the previous calendar year.
Latvia was the biggest shipper during the month, selling 31,500 MT. France was the second most important supplier selling 1,037 MT, followed by Canada at 284 MT.
