France's Field Pea Exports Reveal Easy Performance
PANAMA - Feb 15/24 - SNS -- Movement of field peas from France shrank relative to the previous month in December, official trade data from Eurostat shows.
Total movement in the month amounted to 6,210 metric tons (MT), down 88% from the previous month's total of 50,587. So far movement has amounted to 202,055 MT, up from 183,511 in the same period the last calendar year.
The latest trade statistics showed China was most important consumer, buying 5,023 MT. Switzerland was the second most important buyer taking 959 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 122 MT.
