China's Field Pea Imports Continue Solid Performance
PANAMA - Feb 14/24 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year continued their stronger performance, with field pea imports by China posted significant advances, moving upward relative to the previous month in December, according to available statistics from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Imports for the month reached 509,235 metric tons (MT), up from 344,918 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 2,655,980, up 64% last year.
Recent trade statistics reported Russia was most important exporter, supplying 261,195 MT during the month. Canada was the second most important shipper selling 234,830 MT, followed by United States at 6,198 MT.
